Graduate Trainee Programme 2026 / 2027

Your degree got you here.
This is the year that gets you everywhere else.

A twelve-month sales programme built around your growth rather than around a vacancy we need to fill. Structured learning, mentors who take you seriously, real responsibility from your first month and honest guidance at every turn, inside a company building across Nigeria, the United Kingdom and the United States. You arrive as a graduate and leave with a career already underway. Places are deliberately few.

Lagos-based applicants. Sixty seconds to apply, no CV needed to start. Applications close Monday, 7 September 2026.

What we look for

Three things. You only need to be strong in two.

Your transcript tells us how well you sat examinations. It does not tell us whether you can read a room, win a stranger's trust, or finish what you started. So we stopped asking for it, and we built the selection around what actually decides whether someone is good at this.

How you think

You stay clear under pressure. You can hold a complicated situation in your head, take it apart and work out what is really going on. Numbers do not frighten you and neither does a blank page.

We test this with reasoning, not with your CV

How you read people

You sense what somebody actually needs before they have finished saying it. You use initiative, you know what to say and what to leave out, and people trust you quickly. They are usually right to.

We test this with real situations

How you get things done

You make things happen. Where other people are still planning, you have already built it, sold it, organised it or fixed it. You are the one your friends call when something actually has to get finished.

We test this with live work, from week one

Almost nobody is strong in all three, and we are not expecting it. Two is enough to get in, and the twelve months are there to build the third. If you have been quietly written off by graduate schemes because of a class of degree, a course you did not choose, or a CV that does not look like everybody else's, this process was designed with you in mind.

Why we run this

We are not looking for finished products. We are looking for people we can finish.

Most employers want someone who already knows everything, then wonder why that person cannot do the one thing the business actually needs. We would rather take raw ability and put it through a process that we control, because that is how you build people who are genuinely good rather than people who merely look good.

So from your first month you are in the building, on the floor, in front of real clients, with experienced people beside you. Not making tea. Not watching. Doing the work, being coached hard, and being told the truth about how you are getting on.

By this time next year you will have a track record, a network, and a skill that will pay you for the rest of your life, whatever you go on to do.

01

Twelve months, not twelve weeks

A full structured year with a defined Sales Academy curriculum, live projects, coaching and formal reviews. Long enough to actually change what you are capable of.

02

Coached by people who have closed

Mentorship from practitioners, not trainers. Everyone teaching you has done the thing they are teaching, in this market, with these clients.

03

Access you would wait years for

Direct exposure to senior leaders and to how decisions actually get made in a company operating across Nigeria, the UK and the USA.

Your twelve months

What actually happens, month by month.

Month 1

Foundation Month

Six days a week at Gbagada, and you will feel it. The company, the product, the customer and the sale. You stand on the PalmVille plantation in your first week, because nobody should sell land they have never walked on. You rotate through unfamiliar responsibilities, take on real assignments, and get scored on what you actually do rather than what you say you can do. Everyone who completes this month receives a certificate of completion, whether or not they continue.

Months 2 to 4

Fundamentals, with a mentor

Prospecting, discovery, presentation, pipeline discipline. You are assigned a mentor and you start handling real conversations under supervision. The goal for this stretch is your first independent close.

Months 5 to 7

Advanced practice

Negotiation, complex objections, selling to families and to boards, the difference between bulk and retail. You start carrying a real target of your own.

Months 8 to 10

Ownership

Your own pipeline, your own client portfolio, and the part most graduate schemes skip entirely: seeing your customers all the way through documentation, allocation and delivery. Anyone can close. We are teaching you to be trusted.

Months 11 to 12

Consolidation and leadership

You mentor the incoming cohort, build your professional profile, and complete your final assessment. High performers are considered for permanent employment.

Where you start

Everyone here starts in sales, whatever they go on to become.

Every single person who joins LIFEPAGE through this programme starts in sales. Not as a holding pattern, and not because we could not think where else to put you. Selling is the ground everyone in this company stands on, whatever their eventual title, and it is the one thing we will not let anybody skip.

WHY

Nobody here is exempt from understanding the customer

An accountant who has never sat with a client, an operations lead who has never had to earn a stranger's trust, an HR professional who has never had to persuade anybody of anything. Each of them is worse at their own job for it. We would rather you learn this first, once, properly.

AFTERWARDS

Your specialism is not lost, it is added to

If you studied engineering, law, accounting or anything else, that stays yours. After the Foundation Month you spend a further stretch in sales, and once your record shows where your strengths genuinely lie you are placed into the department that suits them. The selling never fully leaves your job, and it should not.

THE POINT

The people who run this company will have done this

Anyone who ends up leading here, in any function, will have started on the floor and know exactly how value is created for a customer. That is not a rule we apply to trainees. It is how the company is being built.

The Sales Academy

Fourteen skills you will own by the end of it.

Structured classroom learning combined with practical assignments, coaching, live projects, client engagements and field work. You learn it in the room and then you use it the same week.

Property sales Business development Lead generation Customer acquisition Sales prospecting Client relationship management Sales negotiation Real estate advisory Sales presentations Customer retention Closing techniques Market intelligence Digital and social selling Personal branding
What the year gives you

An education people normally pay for, and get paid to do.

Business schools charge millions to teach the theory of this. We are going to teach you the practice of it, on live transactions, with your name on the outcome, for twelve months.

THE SKILL

You learn to sell at a level most people never reach

Not retail. Not airtime. Property and plantation assets that move at millions per unit, to buyers who ask hard questions and expect to be advised properly. Learn to sell at that level and you can sell anything, anywhere, for the rest of your working life.

THE PROOF

You leave with a record, not a reference

Twelve months of real clients, real transactions and real numbers with your name attached. When your next employer asks what you have actually done, you will have an answer that most graduates three years ahead of you still cannot give.

THE ROOM

You get access years before your peers

Direct exposure to the founder and senior leadership of a company operating across three countries. You see how capital, land, risk and reputation are actually managed, from inside the room where it happens.

Everything included in the twelve months

No part of this is theoretical, and no part of it is filler.

  • A structured Sales Academy curriculum, classroom and practical
  • A named mentor and continuous coaching throughout the year
  • Live property transactions and real client relationships from month one
  • Direct access to senior leaders and to executive-level thinking
  • Field experience at PalmVille and across the LIFEPAGE portfolio
  • Structured performance reviews and honest, specific feedback
  • A professional network inside the Nigerian real estate industry
  • A certificate of completion for the Foundation Month, held by everyone who finishes it
  • Career coaching and personal brand development
  • Consideration for permanent employment on successful completion
Who can apply

We took the barriers down on purpose.

No minimum class of degree. Any discipline. Previous sales experience is not required, and no, we do not care that your course had nothing to do with property.

Evidence of leadership, entrepreneurship, volunteering, customer service, campus involvement, internships or anything you have built or run yourself will count in your favour. Tell us about it.

If you studied engineering, law, accounting or anything else entirely, apply anyway. Everyone here spends their first twelve months in marketing and sales regardless of discipline, and your specialism comes back to you afterwards.

Say this back to yourself before you apply. This programme is competitive by design and we are telling you so at the start rather than at the end. Not everyone who begins the Foundation Month continues into the eleven months. Performance is reviewed every three months after that, and those reviews have consequences. If you would rather not be measured, this is the wrong programme, and we would genuinely rather you knew that today.

One thing to be clear about. LIFEPAGE does not request payment from applicants at any stage of this recruitment process. There is no application fee, no training fee, no assessment fee and no onboarding fee, and there never will be. If anyone asks you for money in connection with this programme, they do not represent us. Report it to us immediately at graduatetrainee@lifepage.ng.

Before you apply

This will be hard. That is the point.

Six-day weeks in the Foundation Month. Real targets. Being told no by strangers and picking up the phone again anyway. Feedback that is specific rather than gentle. Responsibility handed to you before you feel ready for it, which is the only moment anyone is ever ready for it.

We are not going to pretend otherwise, because the people we want are the ones who read that and lean in.

If you want a quiet desk where the work arrives in your inbox, there are easier programmes than this one and we would genuinely rather you applied to those. If you want to find out what you are actually capable of, the cohort is deliberately small and the first step takes sixty seconds.

Recruitment process

Structured, transparent and merit-based.

You will know where you stand at every stage. No silence, no guessing.

1

Apply

A short eligibility form, about sixty seconds. You are told immediately whether you qualify.

2

Full application

If you qualify you go straight through. Roughly fifteen minutes, and this is where you make your case.

3

Assessment, straight away

The timed assessment opens the moment you submit. Numeracy, logic, reasoning, judgement and sales. This is where class of degree stops mattering.

4

Interview at our office

Shortlisted candidates come to Gbagada and meet the panel in person. We would rather see you than read about you.

5

Final conversation

A last interview with our founder before any offer is made.

6

Offer of a place

A formal offer setting out the programme, the terms and what is expected of you, in writing.

7

Foundation Month

Four weeks in the building, on the floor and in the field. Everyone who completes it receives a certificate.

The programme

Eleven more months, beginning in sales, with your placement decided by your record.

Questions

Before you ask us.

What do I actually walk away with after twelve months?

The ability to sell high-value assets to serious buyers, which is the most transferable commercial skill in business and one that almost nobody is taught properly. A record of real transactions with your name on them. A network inside the Nigerian real estate industry. And, for those who perform, consideration for a permanent role here. Whatever you go on to do afterwards, this year pays for itself for the rest of your career.

Do you actually reply, or is this another application into a void?

We reply. The first step is eleven questions and it tells you on the spot, before you leave the page, whether you meet the criteria. If you do not, we tell you exactly which requirement did not match rather than leaving you wondering for three months. If you do, you go straight through to the full application. Nobody here is left waiting on a reply that was never coming.

Is this a paid programme?

Yes. The full package is set out in the written offer issued to successful candidates, so that everyone has the same information in the same form at the same stage. What we will say here is the thing that matters most: LIFEPAGE never asks an applicant for money, at any point, for any reason.

My class of degree is not strong. Am I wasting my time?

No. There is no minimum class of degree, in any discipline. The assessment and the interview decide this, not your transcript. If you think clearly, read people well, or get things done reliably, you have a real chance here that you will not get in most graduate schemes.

My degree has nothing to do with real estate or business. Is this for me?

Yes, and it is worth understanding why. Everyone who joins LIFEPAGE through this programme spends the full twelve months in marketing and sales, whatever they studied and whatever they eventually specialise in. Once you are retained, roughly seventy per cent of your work moves into your own discipline and thirty per cent stays here. So your degree is not wasted, it is banked. What you learn in these twelve months is what makes you better at it later.

Do I need sales experience?

No, and most successful applicants will not have any. We are looking for people who are coachable, resilient and genuinely interested. If you have ever run a small business on the side, organised something, or persuaded people to do something difficult, that counts for more than a job title.

I am still serving. Can I apply?

Yes, provided you complete NYSC before the programme commences in October. Select the option that matches your situation on the form.

Is it remote?

No. It is full-time and based at our office in Gbagada Phase II, Lagos, with regular field assignments, client meetings and site visits across Lagos. This is a job you learn by being in the room.

What happens after the twelve months?

Outstanding performers are considered for permanent employment, subject to performance, successful completion and the needs of the business at the time. Everyone leaves with a track record, a network and a skill that transfers anywhere.

How long does the application take?

The first step is about sixty seconds and tells you immediately whether you are eligible. If you are, the full application takes roughly fifteen minutes. Have your CV and your NYSC document ready, and know your LinkedIn URL.

Will I hear back either way?

You will know within sixty seconds whether you meet the criteria, and you will get written confirmation that your application has been received. Beyond that stage, only shortlisted candidates are contacted.

Can I apply if I am not in Lagos?

Yes, but you must be able to relocate and to work from Gbagada Phase II from the start of the Foundation Month in October. Be honest with yourself about that before you apply.

A small cohort. One intake a year.

Eleven questions, no CV needed to start, and you will know where you stand before you close this page. Applications close Monday, 7 September 2026, and late applications are not considered.
